Preparation Prevents P*ss Poor Performance
It’s always recommended for a reason-It works!! My biggest tip for this is to batch cook and freeze. You don’t have to slave away by the cooker every night. Pick one week night and cook for a couple of hours and freeze! This will prevent you picking up quick calorie laden lunches!! The choices are endless. I always make my healthy bolognaise, chicken pie, soups. I Individually portion so I can grab them out of the freezer in the morning and they are defrosted in time for heating at lunch! If you want any particular recipes let me know. They may not be traditional but my healthy take on things!
2. Write it Down
When trying to lose a few pounds the best tip I was ever given was to write down everything that passes your lips in a daily food diary! This really works you’ll be surprised the amount of bits that you totally forgot about! The cheese you eat while making a lasagna, The spoons of curry “to taste its ok” before having dinner. I have said and heard so many times…”I don’t even eat much, How am I putting on weight??”. Don’t forget Little Pickers Wear Big Knickers!!
Don’t lie to yourself with this one write down everything and assess where you could cut down. You’ll be amazed what little changes can do!
